About Me

Like any other Hip Hop the culture, as well as many of its notable artistic representatives heavily influenced fan and purist Hannibal Jack Danz. As a result, Hannibal, real name Daniel, took to the art form and was very intrigued by the many melodies that he heard frequently. Growing up in a home, which embraced music, and culture, Daniel was supported and encouraged in his musical ambitions. Learning at a young age both how tedious a job, and how lucrative the music business could be, he took to honing his skill setting and knowledge of both the history, and the business of the entertainment industry.

Outside of Newtown High School, his alma mater, Daniel began rapping in cyphers where he acquired the nickname, "Alize Mastermind"as homage to the well-known "Thug Passion", a liquid concoction of Hennessy and Alize. He would maintain that moniker for quite a while, before feeling like he had truly come into his own as an artist, changing his name to 'Hannibal Jack Danz' and transformed his focus to that of songwriting.  With nothing to lose and foreseeably the world to gain, Sony Studios, and The famed Hit Factory became a second home for Jack Danz. It was during this time that he and his eventual business partner Greg Rooney AKA'Young Bruno', nephew of Cory Rooney, senior vice president at Sony would form a union would serve as a pivotal point in each's life and careers.

His first foray into the ever-popular entertainment industry came when he lent a hand to aspiring Hip Hop artist D.G. assisting him with recording a demo, in hopes of getting it in the right hands, leading to a record deal. Supporters of Danz hard work began to use their resources to help further his plight. Always the studious type, Hannibal quickly learned how to build the right relationships with the right people. In addition to song writing, he was interested in the executive side of the game, and that of managing artists. Soon there after he met fellow student of Newtown, Giselle Moya, whom he discovered was a stunning songstress.  Quickly his entrepreneurial senses kicked in, offering to kick-start her singing career; after months of convincing, he and Young Bruno started managing and producing for Giselle. The team recorded a few records and went on to showcase Giselle's sound to the more accomplished producers, Cory Rooney, Troy Oliver and Rich Harrison.

In 2001, Hannibal enrolled at and attended Five Towns College in Long Island for music and business alongside future music luminaries, Chrisette Michelle, 'American Idol' contestant Jared Cotter, Doug "Biggs" Ellison, Nicole Albino (Nina Sky), Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael (both of Maroon 5). In late 2002, longtime partner and confidant Rooney went on to write and produce for Jennifer Lopez and Christina Milian, while Danz focused on school and sharpening his musical skills. From one hustle to the next, one deal after another, in 2004 Hannibal was afforded the opportunity of an internship at New Jeru Entertainment; soon thereafter, he was hired as general manager, tasked with overseeing all of budding super-producer Nick Fury's production and publishing interests.

As a 2005 graduate of Five Towns College, with a bachelors degree in business administration, Hannibal decided to pursue his own songwriting and production career full time after the relocation of Fury; auditioning for a part in the web reality show, "The Biz" Danz made the final cut of eight out of a pool consisting of a couple hundred thousand contestants. Moving forward, his production and songwriting began to flourish, and relationships were build with well known artists like the late Disco D, Animal Steele aka Scram Jones, and Maino. In 2006, he scored big with "Get This Money" featuring the efforts of industry heavyweights T.I. & Young Jeezy.

Without question, at this point, Jack Danz had arrived. Trying his had once more at managing, Danz met the up and coming Donny Goines at an event sponsored by industry heavy weight Tone Capone called "Sunday School". Under Danz' guidance and advice, Donny Goines began to be accepted within the industry and to date has accomplished much critical acclaim, including being rewarded with Allhiphop.com's Prestagious Breeding Ground Honor, as well as others from Source Magazine, SOHH, XXL Show & Prove to name a few.  Danz managed Goines from 2006 to early 2008 executive producing 3 projects. Jack Danz reputation was at an all time high, and he was highly sought after. However as a result of shortcomings and disappointments Danz decidedto step away from music and focus more on his real estate business. Approached with the opportunity to join longtime friend Mr. Devine's Nexx Move INC. Danz became responsible for the development of producers, songwriters and artist alike. With the signing of Joe Milly, a producer, he was able to add to his credit, as a vital piece to Joe Milly's meteoric rise; with placements on the forthcoming Wu-Block Project featuring legendary artists Sheek Louch and Ghostface Killah as well as work with Styles P and Jadakiss on Consignment the 2012 Gangsta Grillz Project hosted by DJ Drama.
